FARMING FOR THE FUTURE

Join us tonight on an exclusive spotlighting wildlife tour to the award winning historic farm “Bangor”, with 5100 hectares of native forests and grasslands and 35 km of spectactular coastline.

Meet the Dunbabin family who have owned Bangor for 120 years.  Over supper, chat with us about this historic property on which Abel Tasman hoisted the Dutch flag in 1642, our award winning environmental management, and the Tasmanian Devil research programme.  We will take you on a tour of discovery through this picturesque landscape at dusk to experience Wombats, Possums, Wallabies and the threatened Tasmanian Devils, all in their natural environment.

Experience the beauty and history of Bangor on our fully guided day walk, taking in some of Bangor’s 35 km of spectacular coastline. Our experienced guides will show you the natural and cultural heritage of Bangor, including the Monument at Tasman Bay, where Abel Tasman planted the Dutch flag in 1642.
